An almost solo show.

Leoniepony loves Belfast and she got a chance to figure out why.

Originally from Galway, Leonie McDonagh has trained in dance since she was a teenager. Over time, she has found that she prefers talking to dancing – It doesn’t hurt her muscles as much – This show contains both.

Host of the infamous Pony Panto, director of the award winning pony- dance, workshop facilitator and all round good time merchant, Leonie brings you a lunchtime of insouciant reflection on her longest lasting love affair.

Originally commissioned by the Ulster Bank Belfast International Arts Festival, supported by Belfast City Council and very kindly informed and inspired by several community groups (Skyway Club, Dee St Seniors Group, The Men’s Shed Connswater, Creative Connections, Beech Hall Day Centre, Woodlands Day Centre, Brassneck Whiterock, TOWN Ballynafeigh) and many, many people through out Belfast.
